Q.  What is the best way to learn how to stretch correctly?

A.  Talk to your medical doctor, doctor of chiropractic, or physical therapist to see if they have a trusted source that they recommend.  There are some reputable sources on the internet as well.  Be sure to look for the words safe and gentle when choosing a stretching routine.

Q.  Can low back stretching exercises help improve my posture?

A.  Most definitely.  Stretches that decompress the discs of the low back are not only helpful for preventing back pain and improving posture, but also for increasing energy and reducing stress.

Q.   Where can I find stretching classes that teach Doctor recommended stretches?

A.  Check your local hospital first.  They often have safe stretching classes as part of their outpatient educational programs.  Also ask your local health club or gyms if they offer stretching classes that teach you how to stretch safely and prevent or relieve lower back and neck pain and stiffness.
